SITE CLOSING DOWN 1 OCTOBER 2009. NEW SITE UP AND RUNNING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AT: http://www.johnirons.com
The files included on this site are samples of the work carried out by transfertext.
Translations are from various languages into English. There are certain specialities, including art, philosophy, education and poetry. The languages translated from are Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, German and French.
Transfertext has been in existence for almost twenty years. It is a strange hybrid - apart from professional translations covering a wide area, it also devotes much time and energy to translating poetry both professionally and privately for poets who express a desire to see their poetry in an English version.
